Ricardo is a Senior Consultant.
Ricardo is a Chartered Actuary Associate of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries with previous experience in the UK pensions industry and in international employee benefits captive reinsurance.
He joined the firm in October 2020, after completing a Master’s degree in Applied Actuarial Science at University of Kent, studying life insurance, Prophet modelling, and enterprise risk management.
Ricardo has worked on technical provisions and solvency capital requirements, claims reserving and business planning for general, health and life insurance clients. He also has experience in Solvency I and II valuations, model office projections, experience analyses and reporting for friendly societies.
He is a member of SDA’s Quality and Process Committee and is the SDA’s Climate Change Champion. He is also making his way through the rest of the actuarial exams.
When not working, Ricardo enjoys swimming, playing football and attending the weekly parkrun.
